Challenge and Solution

Challenge:

The challenge was to provide instruction on how to add closed captions within Storyline 360 for accessibility purposes.

Solution:

The solution was to use a behaviorist approach and create a short software simulation using Storyline 360 on how to add closed captions. This strategy helped maintain high motivation in learners as they had the chance to practice their skills in a low-risk environment, with encouragement along the way when they got it right. This aided the transition from conscious incompetence to conscious competence on the learning curve.
